1-364 TSBN, 189th IN BDE


1st Training Support Battalion (TSBN) 364th Regiment provides multifunctional training support to US Army Reserves, National Guard, Navy, and Airforce service members to combat theatres world-wide. Enhanced readiness is conducted by trained and certified Observer, Controller/Trainers (OC/T’s) from the 1st Army Academy. Drivers Training, Small Arms, CLS certification, Communications, CBRN, and Land-Navigation (CCLN) is the crux of training being conducted currently at Fort Bliss Texas.

  • Constituted 5 August 1917 in the National Army as the 364th Infantry and assigned to the 91st Division
  • Organized in September 1917 at Camp Lewis, Washington
  • Demobilized in April 1919 at Camp Kearny, California
  • Reconstituted 24 June 1921 in the Organized Reserves as the 364th Infantry and assigned to the 91st Division
  • Organized in November 1921 with Headquarters at Los Angeles, California
  • Relieved 30 January 1942 from assignment to the 91st Division; concurrently converted and re-designated as the 364th Coast Artillery
  • Disbanded 2 April 1943
  • Reconstituted 29 October 1998 in the Army Reserve as the 364th Infantry
  • Re-designated 17 October 1999 as the 364th Regiment and reorganized to consist of the 1st, 2d, and 3d Battalions, elements of the 91st Division (Training Support); 3d Battalion concurrently allotted to the Regular Army
  • Elements ordered into active military service in support of the War on Terrorism
  • Relieved 1 May 2007 from assignment to the 91st Division (Training Support)
