CSM Roque Quichocho

166th Aviation CSM

CSM Roque R. Quichocho Jr. joined the Army in November 1993.  He attended One Station Unit Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky as a 19D Cavalry Scout.  He later transitioned to 67S, OH-58D Helicopter Repairer in July 1998.

His assignments include Fort Polk, Louisiana with Golf Troop 2/2 ACR; C-10 Aviation Intermediate Maintenance (AVIM), Fort Drum, New York; Delta Troop 1-10 CAV, 4th ID, Fort Hood, Texas; 1-222nd  Aiation Regiment TRADOC, Fort Eustis, Virginia; Bravo Troop, 1-17 CAV, 82nd CAB, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; 1-214th Aviation Regiment, 12th CAB, Mannheim, Germany; served as Command Sergeant Major for 1-227th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, Fort Hood, Texas; served as Command Sergeant Major for 1ID Combat Aviation Brigade, Fort Riley, Kansas; and served as Sergeant Major for HRC Aviation Enlisted Branch, Fort Knox, Kentucky.


   CSM Roque R. Quichocho Jr is a graduate of Class 63 of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy.


   His awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star (3 OLC), the Meritorious Service Medal (4 OLC), the Army Commendation Medal (2 OLC), the Army Achievement Medal (3 OLC), the Drill Sergeant Identification Badge, the Basic Parachutist Badge, and the Senior Aviation Crewman’s Badge.


   His deployments include Operation Uphold Democracy- Haiti, Operation Joint Guard- Bosnia-Herzegovina, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom


   CSM Quichocho has been married to his wife Pamela for over 25 years.  Together, they have raised four children Myrissa 24, Victoria 23, Brandon 21, and Faith 12.


   He currently holds an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College.
