CSM Alan Hash

CSM Thomas “Alan” Hash Jr.
 
CSM Hash joined the United States Army in February 2001 as a 15T UH-60 Helicopter Repairer, attending AIT at Fort Eustis, VA. 
 
CSM Hash has served in every enlisted leadership position from Team Leader to Battalion CSM.    His assignments include Germany, Fort Campbell, and Hunter Army Airfield.  He has deployed to Kosovo, numerous times to Afghanistan and Iraq, and to other contingency operations throughout the world.  His notable assignments include Directorate SGM, Special Mission Wing, Special Operations Joint Task Force-Afghanistan; Directorate SGM,  Aviation Maintenance Sustainment Office, U.S. Army Special Operation Aviation Command; and most recently he served as the CSM, 2nd Battalion 3rd Avaition Regiment (GSAB), 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade.
 
CSM Hash’s military education includes all enlisted PME thru the Sergeants Major NRC Class 45, Battalion and Brigade Pre-Command Courses, Special Operations Aviation Enlisted Green Platoon, Combatives Level 1, SERE-C, Lean Six Sigma-Green Belt course, Aviation Safety Course, the Basic Airborne school, and Air-Assault school.  His civilian education includes Bachelors of Art in Management and in Education from American Military University.
 
CSM Hash’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal (3rd award), the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (3rd award), the Air Medal (5th award), the Army Commendation Medal (3rd award), the Army Achievement Medal (4th award), the Combat Action Badge, the Master Aircraft Crewmember Badge, the Basic Parachutist Badge, the Air-Assault Badge, and the Sikorsky Rescue Award.
 
CSM Hash is married to Leigh Anna, and they share three children.
