COL Reginald Williams

Commander

Colonel Reginald Williams began his career in 1999 after receiving his commission from New Mexico Military Institute and assessed as an Infantry Officer upon graduation from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

His previous assignments include Operations Officer and Executive Officer, 4th Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment (2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division), Fort Cavazos, Texas; Observer, Coach/Trainer at the National Training Center (Tarantula 02), Fort Irwin, CA; Professor of Military Science at Prairie View A&M University, Prairie View, Texas; Commander of 3rd Battalion, 362nd Armored Regiment, Fort Bliss, Texas; the Division Deputy Chief of Staff-Operations for First Army Division West, Fort Cavazos, Texas; and most recently the Chief of the Office of Security Cooperation at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq.

Colonel Williams holds a Master of Arts in Leadership and Management from the University of Bellevue, a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio.  

His military education includes the Infantry Officer Basic Course, the Infantry Captains Career Course, Intermediate Level Education Common Core Course, and the U.S. Army War College.
