Chief Warrant Officer Five Travis N. Westfall entered military service on 4 June 2002. He attended basic training at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma and subsequently attended the Warrant Officer Candidate School/Flight Training Program at Ft. Rucker, Alabama.
Chief Warrant Officer Five Westfall has served at echelons from the Platoon to the Army Service Component Command. He has served in every Combatant Command Area of Operations, with the exception of AFRICOM. CW5 Westfall is a trained Aviation Safety Officer, Maintenance Test Pilot, and Maintenance Test Pilot Evaluator. Most recently, he served as the Brigade Aviation Maintenance Officer in 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, Hawaii.
Major deployment history includes Operation Iraqi Freedom 2004‐2005, 2006‐2008, and 2009‐2010. Chief Warrant Officer Five Westfall holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Flight Technology from Thomas Edison State University. He also graduated with honors from
the How the Army Runs Course, Warrant Officer Senior Service Education, and Warrant Officer Intermediate Level Education.
His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (4 OLC), Air Medal (NUM 2), and other awards and decorations commensurate with his rank and time in service.
