W.Va. National Guard Soldiers train with Virgin Islands National Guard at Vigilant Guard 2017

Soldiers from the West Virginia National Guard's 1st Battalion, 150th Aviation Regiment and 2nd Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group, Airborne participated in Vigilant Guard 2017 - US Virgin Islands. Soldiers performed hoist training and conducted area assessments.

The WVARNG Soldiers went to St. Thomas and St. Croix to train in natural disaster relief scenarios with the Virgin Islands National Guard. Vigilant Guard is a national level, full-scale exercise sponsored by US Northern Command (NORTHCOM) and supported by The National Guard.
