Soldiers with the Signal, Intelligence and Sustainment (SIS) Company, Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), conduct retransmission operations at Observation Point Three during Operation Lethal Eagle Nov 3, 2021, Fort Campbell, Ky. The mission of the “retrans” team is to connect two frequencies and rebroadcast them so that they have a longer range, enabling Division Main, Division Tactical Assault Command, and Support Assault Command Post to communicate with each other.
