Medal of Honor recipient Master Sgt. Earl Plumlee shares his story about the events that took place August 28, 2013 on FOB Ghazni in Afghanistan during a Special Forces Association Convention (SFACON), where 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) Green Berets, Soldiers and retirees attended a four-day event held from September 21-24, 2022, in the Colorado Springs area including Fort Carson. SFACON is held to honor, remember and recognize Green Berets and enablers with multiple special events, panels of speakers and Special Forces Medal
of Honor guests.
