West Point- Army vs. University of North Texas Football

The Army Football team from the United States Military Academy at West Point faced off against the University of North Texas Mean Green on November 9, 2024, at DATCU Stadium in Denton, Texas. Heading into the game, Army boasted an impressive 8-0 record and was ranked No. 18 in the AP Poll. In honor of the 1st Cavalry Division, the team proudly displayed the 1CD unit insignia on their helmets. Beyond the game, the 1st Cavalry Division played a key role in the day's events, providing Apache helicopters for an exciting flyover. Chief Butler, who was part of the fly-over, was promoted to Chief Warrant Officer 4. Additionally, the 5th Recruiting Brigade conducted an inspiring enlistment ceremony on the field.
